• You will use the Service in compliance with these Terms and all applicable laws

CertiLang provides an AI-powered German language learning platform designed to help users prepare for German language exams (TELC, Goethe, TestDaF, DSH, ÖSD). Our Service includes:

• AI-powered conversation practice and feedback
• Writing analysis and correction
• Speaking evaluation and pronunciation feedback
• Mock exams and practice exercises
• Progress tracking and personalized recommendations

Note: CertiLang is an educational tool and does not guarantee exam success. Results depend on individual effort and preparation.

Account Creation

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your password
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may delete your account at any time through your account settings.

Free and Paid Plans

CertiLang offers both free and premium subscription plans. Premium features require a paid subscription.

Billing

• Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis
• All payments are processed securely through Stripe
• Prices are in USD unless otherwise stated
• You authorize us to charge your payment method for recurring fees

Cancellation and Refunds

• You may cancel your subscription at any time
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee for new subscribers
• Refund requests after 14 days are evaluated on a case-by-case basis

You agree NOT to:

• Share your account credentials with others
• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer or copy our AI technology
• Scrape, crawl, or collect data from the Service
• Upload malicious content or attempt to compromise security
• Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization
• Use automated systems to access the Service (bots, scripts)
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users or our staff

Our Content

All content on CertiLang, including text, graphics, logos, AI models, exercises, and software, is owned by CertiLang or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

Your Content

You retain ownership of content you submit (writing samples, voice recordings). By submitting content, you grant us a license to use it for providing and improving the Service, including training our AI systems.

Service Availability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.

AI Limitations

Our AI-powered features provide automated feedback that may not always be perfect. The Service is a learning aid and should not be the sole basis for exam preparation.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CertiLang shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Germany. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Germany.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the Service. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
